As it is , I doubt the four bonus tracks of 1964-era Dorham on the job in Oslo with a local rhythm section will be enough of a sweetener for most . AllenLowe Posted August 27, 2009 Report Share Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) just an interesting note - Tony Greenwald, who plays excellent trumpet on the George Russell, is now a professor (psychology or psychiatry, I can't remember) at the University of Washington. When I was working on my 1950s jazz book I called him up and he was amazed that anyone knew about it and said he was basically thrown into the water and told to swim, solo-wise. The new edition's cover looks much, much better though. I can't see sidewinder's picture (those storage sites are blocked on my work computer).
