danasgoodstuff Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) I'll go with the team from the city that rhymes with fun, the Roughies 20. Edited November 24, 2010 by danasgoodstuff Quote
GA Russell Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Posted November 24, 2010 I see that the kickoff is scheduled for 6:32 pm eastern time, so that's what we'll make the deadline to play the contest. http://www.cfl.ca/article/edmonton-cold-snap-should-warm-up-for-grey-cup-sunday Quote

GregK Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 who's halftime entertainment? Wasn't it Blue Rodeo last year? Quote

GA Russell Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Posted November 24, 2010 who's halftime entertainment? Wasn't it Blue Rodeo last year? Apparently there are two Canadian acts this year: Theory of a Deadman and Andree Watters & Suzie McNeil. http://greycup.cfl.ca/page/grey-cup-halftime Quote
GA Russell Posted November 24, 2010 Author Report Posted November 24, 2010 This leaves us with five good numbers left: Montreal - 20, 80 Saskatchewan - 75, 80, 85 Quote
medjuck Posted November 24, 2010 Report Posted November 24, 2010 I'll take Montreal and 25. I always wanted to see Ottawa versus Saskatchewan. Wouldn't that be The Rough Riders versus the Rough Riders or has one of them changed their name? Quote

See my post immediately before yours for the available numbers. The first year I attended a Canadian league game was 1976, and the Grey Cup that year featured Ottawa versus Saskatchewan. That was the game where Tony Gabriel caught the TD pass in the last minute. Ottawa does not have a team currently, but is expected to have one in 2013. Quote
T.D. Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 I don't follow the CFL at all, so have no clue. But I'll take Saskatchewan 80... Quote
GA Russell Posted November 25, 2010 Author Report Posted November 25, 2010 (edited) This leaves us with these numbers left: Montreal - 15, 80, 90 Saskatchewan - 10, 15, 85, 90 PS - Because it will be cold, I am expecting a low-scoring ballgame. But a CFL game with 85 or 90 points is not unheard of when they go into overtime. Overtime in the CFL is like US college ball. Edited November 25, 2010 by GA Russell Quote

Van Basten II Posted November 25, 2010 Report Posted November 25, 2010 I turned 40 this year, but that's in US years, so I'll take Montreal in 30. Last time I checked our money was almost equal with yours Quote
sidewinder Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 As I'm late to the party and an ex Prairie-bird, I'll go for Saskatchewan 15. And hope that they get a -30C snap to slow the action down. Quote
