Teasing the Korean Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 One more reason to love cats. I don't know what the hell he did, but it's much easier to read. Quote
jazzbo Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Probably walked across the brightness control. I love cats, and I miss the three that I had the last two decades. Two died of old age and one disappeared overnight. My new gal is allergic though, so no cats in my immediate future. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted August 8, 2014 Report Posted August 8, 2014 Yeah, it just stepped on the brightness control button. And chalk me up as another cat lover. I've had cats and dogs all my life. Quote

Teasing the Korean Posted August 8, 2014 Author Report Posted August 8, 2014 Whatever the hell the cat did, this baby is glowing like the control panel on a 1950s space ship - or the dashboard of a 1959 Buick. It makes me want to post all sorts of ridiculous nonsense just so I can bathe in the otherworldly, Silicon Valley glow… Quote
JSngry Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 My dog just vomited on the floor. Good thing my laptop wasn't there! Quote

Dan Gould Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 Just when you're certain cats don't give a shit about you, they go ahead and do you a solid. Quote
Shawn Posted August 9, 2014 Report Posted August 9, 2014 I did tech support for Apple for about a year and during that time I took 3 different "my cat walked across my laptop and now my screen looks weird" calls. Cats have the ability to hit the strangest keyboard shortcuts... Quote
mikeweil Posted August 10, 2014 Report Posted August 10, 2014 Perhaps it removed static while touching the screen with its fur ... Quote
xybert Posted August 11, 2014 Report Posted August 11, 2014 Loved my cat, cried like a baby when he was put to sleep after 18 years in our life. It's amazing what babys/toddlers manage to do on computers just by mashing away at the keys. Quote

Wasn't too happy about that. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted August 12, 2014 Report Posted August 12, 2014 It's the keystroke you do that send the whole screen sideways on - can't remember what it was, so I'm always afraid of doing it again. You have to do it in reverse or something to put it right, and you've still got to adjust the size of your windows. Ugh! MG Quote

JSngry Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Some stripper just did something across the top of my lap and now my whole life is brighter! Quote
