I love cats, and I miss the three that I had the last two decades. Two died of old age and one disappeared overnight. My new gal is allergic though, so no cats in my immediate future.

I did tech support for Apple for about a year and during that time I took 3 different "my cat walked across my laptop and now my screen looks weird" calls. Cats have the ability to hit the strangest keyboard shortcuts...

Shoot -- just the other day I accidentally hit some combination of keys and the whole computer shut down. Wasn't too happy about that.

It's the keystroke you do that send the whole screen sideways on - can't remember what it was, so I'm always afraid of doing it again. You have to do it in reverse or something to put it right, and you've still got to adjust the size of your windows.
