Re-playing this very good sounding disc, in part because I like Spalding's involvement and in part because Harrell's trumpet sound always reminds me of that of my best friend in Texas, Dave Laczko, a fine trumpeter and human being.

This volume in the series is great--all either Commodore Records sides (I have all three of the Mosaic Records LP sets) or V-DISCS and every performance features Pee Wee Russell as a band member, and that's a great thing, plus lots of ERNIE CACERES!
