Have that one on vinyl. Also remember them doing tracks from the album at Ronnie Scott’s many years ago (40 ish !)  just after it came out.

Martin Speake is playing Swanage with his quartet next weekend. Hope to catch it.

I agree it is by far the best of the post-comeback albums that I have heard.

I enjoy a lot of Joachim Kuhn's music, but I really think that the second LP is much improved by Dudek.

Not necessarily more.  Just as much as.

I'm also reading Davis' autobiography. He led an unusual, fascinating life.
