I think this series gets some criticism but I was all in.  I have ~300 titles and I recall being really bummed out when the series ended in March 2004.

I love this series as well and have been collecting them--have about 2/3 released.

Well recorded, solid mainstream date, as is typical of the label. I've always liked Watson's sound and compositions, and they are both well displayed here. Some nice trumpet from Jeremy Pelt.
