Rabshakeh Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) High Pulp – Pursuit Of Ends This isn't a bad record, but I do find this type of modern jazz a bit depressing overall. Anthemic instrumental music that has almost no blues in it, and chases hip hop and dance rhythms. At the end of the day it all just ends up sounding like background chill out music. jazzbo Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 Miles Davis “Bitches Brew” Sony Blu-Spec CD2, disc 1 Thinking of consolidating my Miles Davis holdings as there are new reissues coming out, so revisiting this Blu-Spec CD2 release of the “remix.” Sure does sound really nice today in the evolving system.
