Here my friends some of the new things in my live: I mentioned somewhere about some "Good Morning Headache" (just right now I had spinned the Billie Holiday album with the song !) because a long lasting marriage split up. 

But then things started to happen: 

On a gig, I don´t know why, I called "My Ideal" (Will I ever find the girl in my mind......? ya know the lyrics) and 2 days later BAMMMM 🤩

This here was our second date and she set down at my stage keyboard (my new place is smaller and more poorish of course then where I stayed......from high live to low life 😄.... anyway. Her name is the name of the Egyptian GOD OF SUN !!!! I like unusual people !!!! And she just sneaked my "Pharoah Sanders" T-Shirt and started to play, and ya know what, she´s not a piano player but what she figures out makes SENSE and it sounds good to me. Like little bells sounding, just beautiful, and them runs she did and then BANG that bass vamp ! 
She is the most beautiful girl I ever saw and the tune "Miss RA´s Choice" was written the morning "after" and will be on record ! 

one more, you see the Pharoah Sanders T-Shirt.

By the way, since "RA" is her name, she just took my SUN RA long sleeve and said "That´s mine!"  PERIOD ! Got to order another one 😄

Thats the wonderful Miss RA, my girlfriend, who is not a trained musician but can finger out stuff that really makes sense to me and I picked up some of her stuff. She has such a sense for music, it´s incredible.....

Here we checkin out what I rote down from the stuff she played......

I´d say after such a rough start this year it turned out to be the best year I ever had. 

And this one was done outdoor. Well I lost some pounds that´s true

This week marks 18 years since my first wife Helen passed from lymphoma and MDS. She was so brilliant and kind and beautiful--a great loss to lose her at age 52. I'll never forget her.

 

Here is a photo of her smiling so happily from her stay in Chile the summer before I first met her on our first day at the University of Chicago.

She must've been a wonderful person, Lon.  It's clear in your words and memories of her.  I'm glad you've found some level of happiness, though I'm sure she will always be in your heart as well.

She was my first love and fascination, an exceptional person, yes. I have been lucky to find love since, and with someone who understands love does not die.

Now it is great that there are just wonderful memories.
