Kevin Bresnahan Posted Saturday at 08:17 PM Report Posted Saturday at 08:17 PM Rock or funk or R&B??? Now playing - Spring - Funkin With The Rhythm And Blues (Springs of Sound Music). I have no idea where I got this nor who "Spring" is. With this cover shot, I have to wonder if I'm his target audience. Funky stuff... maybe R&B. Fun either way. Quote

BFrank Posted Sunday at 04:46 AM Report Posted Sunday at 04:46 AM I'm listening to these guys for the first time in a LONG time. I forgot how great their song are. On one hand they're LA Punk 80s-90s, but on the other they're talented musicians with extremely well rehearsed vocal harmonies. On top of that, their singer, Greg Gaffin has a (copied from Wikipedia): "BA Biology, BS Geology and master's in Geology at UCLA. In 2003 he went on to earn his PhD in Zoology from Cornell University" Now playing: Quote

BFrank Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM Report Posted yesterday at 05:17 AM Would really LIKE to hear this album, but until now it's only been available on vinyl. Today he announced that there will be a 2CD set and a digital version coming out later this year, and his site was open for pre-orders. So I went to order the CD set and it was already SOLD OUT - for a Pre-Order! What's up with that? Did they only have like 100 available or something? Makes no sense. Quote
