For those who are interested, Real Gone Music (the legit one) is reissuing this classic album on vinyl.  Below info from theseconddisc.com

Definitely of interest - when I read it was by ‘Real Gone Music’ I was thinking that it was by the other lot.

I got the green vinyl version they put out a little earlier this year. Looks like VMP also did a color variant. Great record. The legit RGM label does some good work.

Had a recent CD reissue in Japan, a year or two ago.  Agreed, great record.

can't believe it's 6 years since Jonathan Horwich's (International Phonograph) superb version was released

In fact, it is so good that getting a further vinyl reissue is probably superfluous.

Bought the Japanese reissue on account of of rave reviews here and gave it a few spins. In all honesty, I do not quite understand the fuss. It's a fine record but not the unequivocal masterpiece it's claimed to be. At least not to my ears.

website is still active at least. I think he did a very good job while he was doing CDs.

I think about the Joe Daley box he was working on all the time. Still hope someone can take the reins on that one day, but I'm not counting on it.

Wasn't it something about a change in policies of his licensor that made it impossible or too expensive to license more reissues?
