I have the Monk, Blakey, Dearie, Brubeck, Gillespie and Getz/Gilberto--the cd releases. . . I like them all. I personally believe these are legit. Devialet would be foolish to put themselves at such a risk, and I don't think they're fools. And Sony distributes them, again a legal risk I don't think they would take.

They seemed a little fishy to me, though I have acquired several of the CDs. Now that I have looked at the website, I think they are legit.

There are so many European labels of shady backgrounds, but there have been plenty of "legit" US  and European jazz labels that shafted artists on royalties.

LIMITED EDITION VINYLS

??!!!

I don't believe English is their first language.

Their vinyl is very expensive— they want $100 for the Blakey. Ultimately, I decided I didn’t need them or wish to spend the money on another concert.

That's the way I feel about most modern vinyl reissues. I spend my money elsewhere. The Lost Recordings cds can be found reasonably priced, or at least I did.
