Nice singer, for sure. I am also pretty sure you know of and have listened to Roberta Gambarini, who to these ears is one of the most interesting jazz vocalists nowadays.
You're playing with fire, Dan, by putting Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson at the same level of mastery... Pandora box might be reopened...

Excellent disc, with the focus on her trumpet playing -covering a wide range of styles and registers- rather than on her otherwise excellent vocalist skills. Highly recommended!

First time I heard of / listened to Country Joe was in a 2-disc compilation of Woodstock material, some 40 years ago:
