  8. I reached out to the person at McFarland who overseas the final stages of publishing titles and this is the reply I received today: "The book is in the final stages. We expect it to go to the printer next week with publication likely in early May." My thanks to all on the list who have pre-ordered my book. Jim

  14. Id probably get it for I am a Coltrane completist. And will listen trough the material but if its that bad I’d doubt it comes of the shelves a lot. Definitely go for the cd version.

  18. And let's face it Nat is a pretty good authority. Convinced me not to go anywhere near it
  19. Don't go higher bitrate CBR. Instead, switch to Q0 (highest quality) VBR. Same sound quality as 320 CBR but with smaller files... not that storage is an issue anymore... but it might be in your car on a thumbdrive.
