Jazz Masters is certainly not a legit label. There are several more live recordings of Morrison with Miles. He replaced Sonny Fortune. That band didn't really stay together long enough to get it's own identity, but there were indications that it could have. But...could have is all the further they got. I like Dune well enough, but... Didn't Sam Morrison become a tennis pro at some point?

Oh my God, what great music, and how much I LOVE PHAROAH SANDERS !!!! It seems that he is the artist who touches my soul most since last year, especially since I´m in love. But he has been always one of my favourites, now my foremost favourite. He is the musician, his is the music that moves my heart, I get that feeling of sublime happiness, like when you are in love, and at the same time brings tears of emotion into my eyes. Pharoah Sanders.......I love him. I am so glad I saw him often live when he walked on this planet....... I think we, who got his message, got his blessings........

I assume the Miles CD is a bootleg? He is on a few tracks on the Newport box, correct?

Joseph Orange lives in the DC area. We talk via Facebook a lot. I have only met him in person twice. Very nice guy.

This is the gem I was not aware of until this series came out last year (I ordered it immediately then), apparently has never been released outside Japan in any form. Farmer/Jackie McLean/Cedar Walton/Sam Jones/Billy Higgins live in 1977? Yes, please!
