If you guys are at the Roscoe and Tyshawn I'll be the old guy with the white baseball hat featuring a Moose. Come say hello. I first saw Roscoe more than 50 years ago, then again a few years ago at the Ojai Music Festival.

Hello, My friends
jazzbo commented on Pepico Jazz's blog entry in From Valencia with love and music...
Hi Jose. Welcome. -
Yep, 25+ years ago I bought the majority of the Muse catalog that I wanted for ~$5 per record. Catalyst, Buster Williams, and Vic Juris Horizon Drive were the only ones sold at a premium because of hip hop samples. I also got an original copy Sun Ra's Lanquidity for $20 so it was a different time.

My name is Jose Segura. But all my friends call me Pepico. I was born and live in Valencia (España). We usually say valencia is a Music´s land and its certainly. I speak about the music I like by the point of view from a mediterranean music lover, specially jazz music. Please sit down and relax...

Well if there was any hope of something interesting coming from this new arrangement, I'd say they're about dashed now. This is just a complete waste of time: Burton Marion Brown Green Quartet: Reference: Marion Brown, Capricorn Moon, Why Not & with Burton Green Quartet Thingamajig (thingamajig 2-2506) Bix Beiderbecke: Reference: Bix Beiderbecke, 1924 to 1928 Thingamajig (thingamajig 2-2505) Albert Ayler: Reference: Albert Ayler, Spirits & Spirits Rejoice Thingamajig (thingamajig 2504)

I love this singer, first discovered her during her tenure with Jobim in the “Familia” band, and then searched for her participation elsewhere. I bet that's good. The only Freeman LP I have is Something Tender (bought on a Larry Kart recommendation). -

Nice! Alto saxophonists James Moody (1925) and Christer Boustedt (1939) as well... both gone.

Those would sell now, but at the time, post-Coltrane modal jazz wasn't really moving units like it currently does. I also remember a time when those records were cheap and nobody cared...
