We had two inches overnight.

Hopefully a download will follow. Would much prefer a compact disc issue, but am not holding my breath. I need to spin this album soon!

Yes. That's the absolute worst. Back in 2022, we lost power for 9 days due to freezing rain. It's definitely something to take seriously. Flashlights, generators (if you own one), and camping stoves! Plus—lots of blankets. Oh! And "pedestrian crampons" really helped. More or less like these.
-
Whoa—don't know that one. So many slabs to discover!

He was far more involved in "Bird." Right now

Ice and sleet with freezing rain coming. Freezing rain causes power issues so I hope it's much less than forecasted.

Take this storm seriously. It's a sleeper, but the snow piles up fast. Up to 7 inches now. My institution has already closed Monday.

I know what you mean, Straight No Chaser is a documentary, whereas "Bird" is a movie. Clint was involved in both productions in one way or another. -

As it’s his birthday today, I decided to dig out this 2 cd set of piano and electric bass guitar duets featuring his music. “Piano: Tom Jobim Por Fabio Caramuru” disc 2

“Stan Getz in Stockholm” Verve cd Getz was possibly never prettier sounding than on this European jaunt. Nice music to watch gentle snowfall by.

So, What Are You Listening To NOW?

yeah, both Peacock LPs on CBS from that period are really excellent. Voices has the edge. -
Yes Masabumi Kikuchi on piano, Hiroshi Marakumi on drums and Masahiko Togashi on drums. It’s an earlier seventies recording when Peacock lived in Japan. Highly recommended
