R.I.P. I liked her fairly brief but funny spot in Scorsese's After Hours (a highly underrated film).

The Box Set Hobby
GA Russell replied to Stompin at the Savoy's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
With a new box set, I typically open up one CD a year. So I bite the bullet once, and then I'm good to go for years. -

I just received the vinyl today. Simply put, the music is tremendous, IMO their defining work. The pressing is fine.

+1. My seven year old grandson (who lives with us) and I have frequent philosophical discussions on the relative merits of snow.
-
I would love a gray and rainy winter. I hate snow. I hate shoveling snow. I would love to "snow bird" but my wife doesn't want to.
-
R.I.P. to someone who consistently made me laugh.

It's about time, isn't it?

Up—for details on Coltrane's February 2, 1966 session.
-
Yes, it includes "Round Midnight." 👍 Unfortunately, the disc is a rarity and fetches big bucks in the used marketplace. 😒 I only have blog-sourced .MP3s.

I still hope for a completed issue of the 2/2/1966 Coltrane session.

Jack Teagarden “Think Well of Me” Verve cd The last few times I’ve played this music I’ve played either the stereo or the mono LP, this time it’s the Verve cd. In any case the music is just so good.
-
3CD/4LP Half Note set would be the cat's meow. I have the Audio Fidelity and Creation/Brazilia vinyl, but a remastered and complete concert is deserved.

The drawback to a Miles/Keith live set might be the things with Leon Chancler. By his own later admission, he was not yet up to the task at hand.
