  1. "Landslide" was issued in the US in 1980 - "rainbow series", LT-1051.
  2. This is where I am. Had my yearly physical with my doctor and he said he was 3 shots Pfiser and envied my situation. Masks wherever - for me or everyone else. Pain in the ass but better than doom.
  3. I always enjoyed the subsequent "Flickering Fears"
  4. I haven't read all the thread but as a label owner I must remind folks of the mid '70s "vinyl shortage". Large labels are slow moving giants and they might have been reacting to this situation. Sorry if this has already been mentioned.
  5. Here is the listing. I posted a query on facebook to see if anyone knew anything.
  6. The 2 Chess books include Aristocrat, Checker, Argo, Cadet, etc.
  7. I have a vague memory of that era.
  8. I bought it from a new release page, along with the Bird in LA set. The disc has a different number - UCCU-8255.
  9. I had the original lp in mono. The cd I got is mono.
  10. As a "make weight" for a CD Japan order I added EMI TOCJ-50174 - mono Today I noticed at Dusty Groove item 992458 United Artists/Universal Japan - stereo
  11. DIW-850925 - one sided 7" 33 with "The Lie", a bonus track to the original lp.
  12. Fascinating disc.
  13. Dipping into this again after a long wait.
  14. Lots of respect for the Mezzrow Victor/Bluebird sessions - Benny Carter, Bud Freeman, Willie the Lion, Frankie Newton, etc. I have some of the material on Label X eps and more completely on Chronological Classics.
