    Most "pre-recorded" commercial, reel to reel tapes ran at half speed to save tape. The large hubs were to mask the tiny amount of tape used.

    Had the Dvorak on lp - it came with a 2nd lp with a recording of the symphony from 78s. I listened to the Mahler 2 from this box today and was irritated.

    My guess is this was originally ordered from Momox, via Amazon. They have sent me a couple of bogus sets and are impossible to get reparations.
