  4. Ordered on April 12 from England. Not sure it has gone anywhere. No worries - plenty to listen to.
  5. My first jazz lp was: but my first jazz record was a Buddy Bolden cylinder. I fear I donated it to the local Good Will when we moved to Buffalo. Lightening the load.

  7. Most "pre-recorded" commercial, reel to reel tapes ran at half speed to save tape. The large hubs were to mask the tiny amount of tape used.

  12. Had the Dvorak on lp - it came with a 2nd lp with a recording of the symphony from 78s. I listened to the Mahler 2 from this box today and was irritated.

  14. They refused my claims.
  15. My guess is this was originally ordered from Momox, via Amazon. They have sent me a couple of bogus sets and are impossible to get reparations.
