The story mentions he found the 78 at the Jazz Record Mart about 35 years ago. I got my copy (and a bunch of original Prestige pressings) when I worked there in '66/67. When the local Prestige distributor phased out his 78 inventory, Bob bought the lot. The Discogs entry (* New Jazz 855 Lee Konitz - Duet For Saxophone And Guitar / Yesterdays / * Prestige 755 Lee Konitz - Duet For Saxophone And Guitar / Yesterdays) is incorrect. These recordings have nothing to do with the "Duet" session.

If memory serves, Miles lays out on the other take. Will listen later to make sure.

An alternate of "Yesterdays" was issued on 78 and never reissued. I have a copy.

From WBLV studios a few years back. Later Henry, Margaret and Marshall went with us to Plumb's market for boxes of fried chicken for a late night snack.
