  1. I might get back to you later about this. George Hocutt was a partner and was operating into the '90s. I had good and bad experiences.

  15. Yes, these were Argo/Chess releases. I believe the tapes were smuggled out of the Chess vault and delivered to Prestige for a payment. A Marmarosa/Bill Hardman was done at the same time and I believe those tapes remained with the Chess holdings. This latter date was booted by Charly/Affinity.
  16. Do you mean different translations of the original note or different notes for each language?
  17. I jus had uncontrollable chills for 5 minutes.
  18. In another thread I mentioned I still had a couple hundred slipcases for the set and offered to send the box with "upgrades" in the box and offered the slipcase alone to folks purchasing the releases elsewhere. If you wish to participate, get in touch. If you have an old set, you can upgrade your sale with a new box or you can keep the relevant cds in the box..

  20. For anyone wanting to "upgrade" the Art Ensemble box for the new masterings, I will send the new disc packages in a new AEC 1967/68 box/sleeve. I have a couple hundred extras and sent one to a good customer earlier.
