Which of the Fontanas?
Great records.
I asked which because he typed "the Fontana". I know there were 2 and arguably a 3rd - In Haarlem issued initially on sister label Polydor, but all 3 come from the same master pool and now reside with the Black Lion/Freedom holdings.
The 2 disc "best of" includes 3 bonus tracks: Moose the Mooche (8:21) from the Dakota session, It's Impossible (7:15) from the Divide sessions and This Is Always (2:56) from the live portion of Improvisor.
The dvd is in 2 parts; the first a public interview conducted by Neil Tesser and the second is the ceremony renaming a portion of 75th St Von Freeman Way. The interview is 38 minutes and the other is 10. Both were recorded in October 2002.
Not that it is important to anyone but me, I want to add Monk's Music. This is probably the first jazz record memorized. Monk, Hawk, Coltrane, Ware, Blakey - whooooo Jack!
Never saw a glass bottle with a bottom like the one pictured.
Bottled water from any source is an unnecessary drain on the world's water supply and is simply a marketing ploy. Next they will be selling you air.
