  1. So I take it you're a Courvoisier man.
  2. Not the quartet record.
  3. This was included in a 3 disc set titled Scratching the Seventies. Others included are Scraps, Dreams, Roba and The Owl.
  4. RCA/BMG owns it and it is a piece of crap.
  5. More likely a bargain counter tenor at breast.
  6. I suggest you keep 'em, I will. Nothing bad about having all the music in one place.
  7. I listened to about 5 minutes of the Fresh Air show yesterday and dumped it. Tuned in today and about a half hour in Terry announced "part two" of the Anka interview. I turned the radio off. He sounded like the most egocentric a-hole on earth the first few minutes of the first day. What was she thinking! If that was "the point" it backfired for me.
  8. Don't know the cd graphics but the lps were fine. Can you give examples?
  9. It is the "source" of the dubbings I object to. Be happy in "EU". I do think mr. HB is in the US. It would be much better if these guys weren't so greedy they want to sell their free goods over here.
  10. Don't know. I've been in touch with him recently, I'll ask.
  11. Where's the finger smilie?
  12. I'll buy multiple copies of "Take Yo' Dump".
  13. If you don't know what you mean/know I'm gone.
  14. Sorry, I do not see any "white hats" in this whole story. People compromised their children and ...............................
  15. Or did you mean you thought the cd had been stolen?
  16. You said "i recently picked up a dubiously provenanced copy of a paul bley album called "blood" on CD. it looks like the CD is on fontana." Not the same thing. Geez!
  17. 'Twould help if you named the label for these "dubiously provenanced" discs. Are they cdrs? ALSO, as many questions as you ask, why not invest in a discography and stop mooching off those of us paying the bucks?
  18. 1015 - the Great Council at Oxford ← Is this a shoe joke? Is that when wing tips were invented?
  19. If I was you I'd quit too.
  20. About time! DAMN!
  21. I wouldn't hire me. Does that count?
  22. Dot lps by Pee Wee Russell and Bud Freeman. Bud Freeman on UA. Bill Dixon on RCA. Bill Dixon/Archie Shepp Quartet on Savoy. George Russell in KC on Decca.
  23. I can only dream of the possibilities if I had "underwriting" or a family fortune to build a label.
