  1. I'm pretty sure he played an Albert system clarinet.
  2. Yes, Pathe Marconi made the recordings in 1969 and 1970. I issued them in the US in 1970.
  3. All the best and more my friend.
  4. I remember a Basso/Oscar Valdambrini record on Jazzland from high school. The cover was a bright yellow IIRC.

    Fats Waller

    Not in the US.
  6. Once again I missed the signs announcing the IDIOT FESTIVAL.
  7. For some folks, the problem is KJ. Maybe a disc of humming would interest.
  8. The whole idea scares the crap outta me.
  9. That's why they keep you away from the big boys.
  10. Manufactured in the good old USA. Most of my lps were pressed in Phoenix - one of the best pressing plants was in 100 degree temps most of the time. Go figure?
  11. Damn, I never saw that! Thanks for posting it.
  12. Have a goofy day. All the best from both of us.
  13. All takes were on a Signature cd called Happy Reunion. Available at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-lis...5?condition=all

  18. Jean Ritchie?
  19. That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.
  20. Did I say something you disagree with?
  21. The AEC told French EMI to contact me since Capitol didn't want to issue the records in the US. I signed a contract (in perpetuity) with them and they sent me copies of the masters. In the mid '80s when I was at the bottom of my financial life, Cuscuna asked if I'd relinquish my rights so BN could issue the stuff and I agreed. I thought the guys could make some bucks. Nothing was issued. I still have the tapes and they don't. Since they made me pay for the tapes, if they ever understand I have 'em they have to buy 'em back.
  22. George didn't mention Honda Accords or Post-It notes. Both are huge 20th century influences.
