  1. That's what I thought, but I didn't want to say so for fear of scaring Moms away. BTW, check out Moms' numerous Amazon.com reviews: http://www.amazon.co...ef=cm_cr_dp_pdp That's also what I thought as I read his post. Do we know for sure that he's not?
  2. What??? You mean that your turntable isn't big enough to hold a full-size man???
  3. Well, I dunno. I heard that you can..ahem.. wear yours. I just had some repair work done on my turntable:
  4. Speaking of which, check out the first photo in this thread (you may have to refresh it to see the photos): http://www.organissi...=1&#entry565598 Some of the other photos might also pique your Philly tourism interest.
  5. Try the Boston-Newbury Street number and see if they can connect you with or give you a phone number for internet sales: http://www.newburyco...r=103&deptnr=60

^^^ Please, Bev, let's keep that S&M stuff in the classical forum.
  7. Last time I checked Accuweather.com, they were predicting another 8-16 inches for Philly for Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Oh joy.
  8. Went outside and measured today--16 inches. Well, it sure SEEMED like 2 feet yesterday.
  9. Who asked YOU??? STFU!!!
  10. Definitely 2 feet--at least--up here in northwest Philly. And still no sign of stopping.
  11. Hey, Bob--if you'd like, we could plan a Philly organissimo "Welcome Sidewinder" get-together while you're here, perhaps at a jazz venue. I'm sure Messrs. Johnson and Deeley would be interested. We've done it before for the likes of Allen Lowe and organissimo (Jim, Joe, and Randy in the flesh), and compared to those characters, meeting you would be a real pleasure and a treat. If you're interested, you can send me a PM with the details of when you'd be available, where you'll be staying, contact info., etc., and I can set something up.
  12. Some are yellow...others purple....like the Pepper & Miles ones that he and Sjarrell are iso. Riverside=red Prestige=purple Contemporary=yellow Green = Fantasy Actually, Fantasy=blue (at least in my collection, e.g., Brubeck--Jazz at Oberlin, Guaraldi--Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus) Jazzland=orange Pablo=lighter (than Contemporary) yellow Now that we've cracked the color code, are you sure you really wanna get rid of 'em?

  14. And the Johnny Richards (for me).
  15. If I wanted any of these, I'd order first and ask questions later.
  16. I still have it, but it'll cost you.
  17. Sounds like you have the Rhino/Warner UK edition: http://www.amazon.co...64719090&sr=1-1
  18. Obviously, another bail-out.
  19. Art Pepper, "The Complete Village Vanguard Sessions" (Contemporary) with George Cables, George Mraz, and Elvin Jones
  20. With few exceptions, that's generally what occurs.
  21. He also didn't do too badly with the string quartet.
  22. Then what's left to sniff?
