Brownie, I just got this a few days ago, but haven't had a chance to listen yet (probably tomorrow). Now I'm looking forward to it even more! Thanks!
I've also recently acquired some of the other Andorran/Spanish releases of relatively rare Wes recordings, including "A Good Git-Together/Kismet" (also on Lonehill), "The Incrdible Jazz Guitar of Wes Montgomery" (Definitive) which includes 4 terrific sides of Wes' quartet at the Half Note in Feb. '65 and 4 tracks of him with Martial Solal and others in Hamburg in April '65, and "Live in Belgium 1965" (Gambit) which includes 5 tracks in Belgium, 5 in London, and the same 4 ( I believe) in Hamburg that also appear on the Definitive release. I've had Definitive's 2-CD "Complete Live in Paris" for some time. I haven't listened to "A Good Git-Together" yet, but the others all have fairly decent sound (some of it great), and for the most part feature some fairly long tracks that really allow Wes to stretch out.
I know you probably already have these Brownie , but I mention them in case any other Wes fans out there aren't aware of them.
