    Herbie Hancock

I doubt that it's Herbie - usually studio musicians who's, nearly, sole job was to create music for movie trailers...but YES! it would be nice to hear those original tapes!
  2. Received an email yesterday. It's on its way!
  3. I still think we're way ahead if you use the actual total post numbers. Last check, it's about 337,750
  4. Sign him up for copies of The Financial Times!
  5. Jeff? I'm speechless! Any other examples? Even slight ones that you noticed in hindsight?

    Herbie Hancock

Came across this while assembling a new playlist: Spook Promo
  7. I'm guessing she knows as much about sexuality as she knows about the English language. Yeah, keep 'em away from that evil Herbie Hancock record!
  8. I wonder how easy your math courses were when you were a youngin'. MUCH harder in my day - based solely on dealings with slacker dudes (and dudettes) nowadays who can't figure out how to give the proper change after a purchase.
  9. Yeah, as long as he has lots of nice fruit trees!
  10. Actually, I don't think they got very far with it 'cause I can only remember a dozen or two out of whack. The truth finally comes out! Yes, it was definitely my collection, but the weird thing is that they've never been cataloged - even (especially?) today - always been a fan of randomness and chance operations. Of course, it causes problems if I actually have to hunt for something specific... Damn that Bowman!
  11. So that was HIM!
  12. I noticed that you said "American" cars - natch
  13. Well, if you're trombonist Dave Bowman, then we were roommates
  14. Yeow! 95! but that just means I'll be mindless by that age. I'd be happy with 80...
  15. You must be old...at least older than the guy in the Avatar! Berigan! Flattery will get you everywhere! (I think...?) The avatar pic is from last year. I like to take my teeth out and play with them now and then. My mind reminds me (often!) of my age.
  16. Yes, this is great news! For those outside Dallas, the Bath House Cultural Center is right off of a place known as White Rock Lake which is quite beautiful. A nice place for biking and/or hiking (I'm less than a mile away, and try to bike around the lake on at least 3 or 4 days of the week). White Rock A Zeiss on a Cybershot? How come mine don't look like that? Which one? Thanks Kim!
  17. Oh, yes! Mrs. JSngry too, but she's not on the board, so I skipped. Lovely and gracious woman - and the KIDS too! (actually Charlie has posted here, so...) ...and yes! Mr. PorkerDavis.
  18. Jim Sangrey (in '76 at NTSU) Chuck Nessa (in '80 at Kinnara) John Thomas (in '92 at k29) Joe Milazzo (a few years ago at that bar near SMU) Al Rearick (last Wednesday at the Fallout Lounge) I'm trying to remember who all showed up at Jim's get together a coupla years ago... (god, I'm feeling old....)
  19. OK I'm sorry...
  20. Mine come whenever!
  21. Do they come in flashes Chuck?
  22. Candy! Favs?
  23. Hey! I hope I didn't p-off Jazz Kat by saying the "naive" word! I don't have kids (they're probably better off), so I don't know if that's a "no-no" word to a teenager. It wasn't with me - mine was "weird" - I hated it whenever my mother called me that! OK, Jim S...tell me. What would Charlie say if you called him "naive"?
  24. Yeah, that's worth placing in a sig file...
