That is so cool! One of my biggest jazz-releted regrets is never seeing Mingus in person. I saw Mingus in person in the mid-1970s, when he was touring Europe with Jack Walrath, George Adams, Don Pullen and Dannie Richmond. Impressive. Around this time his Atlantic albums Changes One and Changes Two were released.

When I ordered a few more sets an hour or so ago I got a note from Mosaic that they were pretty busy (they're working today).

A Sure Thing is an album with recordings in larger settings, ranging from a quintet to a nonet. It's been a while since I last listened to it, but it's quite good.

Blues on My Mind is a compilation of his Riverside albums. You'd better get the individual Riversides.
