  1. I'd certainly leave him negative feedback if he doesn't pay.
  2. That seems to be true. Wasn't the most recent CD reissue dubbed from vinyl?
  3. eBay's non-paying buyer policy (for what it's worth) - click here
  4. My settings are at 32-bit, and the header looks fine.

For some hard to explain reason I was never completely convinced by Moondoc's playing. I haven't listened to his discs for ages, maybe I should start afresh.

I've ordered from Forced Exposure in the past (not recently, though) and never had any problems.
  7. Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be a fake auction or a hoax.
  8. The auction hits the €2,100,000 ($2,600,000) mark... Is this for real??
  9. Beckham's ball now up to €19,100.00 and change ($23,700), with 8 days to go...
  10. Well, with my IE6 it doesn't work at all.
  11. Same here until a few minutes ago, and now I'm getting nothing
  12. Yep, I have two editions of this book, the fifth (1963) impression of the 1958 edition and the revised 1966 edition. It's just what the title indicates, a history of jazz with short introductory chapters about the various jazz styles from the beginning through the then present day, and lots of pictures, of course.
  13. Could you please post a link - the old one doesn't work anymore, at least not on my computer.
  14. I couldn't find it in this forum either. However, there were a few posters who were (are?) looking for a CD version of this album.
  15. This is a great deal... (scroll down for the description in English)
  16. You don't HAVE to buy it... and if you do buy it, you don't HAVE to listen to it. that's what many around here do I believe.... Listen? What's that??
  17. You don't HAVE to buy it...
  18. I just heard from Mosaic's Scott that the Hill Select will possibly be released in the summer of 2005.
  19. Not that the bits have anything to do with it, but weren't all of the first TOCJ 84XXX CDs remastered using 20 bit technology? I thought they moved to 24 bit right in the middle of this series. Maybe around 1995? The CDs in the "Blue Note Works" TOCJ 1500, 1600, 4200, 4300 and 4400 series were all 20-bit remastered; the CDs in the TOCJ 4000 and 4100 series were 16-bit remastered. Very true.
  20. Let's hope Mosaic will include the album Rare, But Well Done that Jimmy Rowles recorded for Liberty (LJH-6003) in September 1954, with Red Mitchell on bass and Art Mardigan on drums.
  21. This is great news!
  22. I was very fond of Nancy Wilson's album How Glad I Am, way back in the 1960s. Haven't heard it in the last 30 years, though.
  23. Yeah, well, you can't really blame Hiroshi for the occasional typo or a wrong translation. Edited.
  24. Click here.
