  12. That's a shame. I missed his recent-ish visits to Oto too
  13. Credit where credit's due in that case, to Jaime Zuvera. According to the cover. The label has quite a strong design aesthetic so maybe he does others for them too
  14. Luke Stewart - Exposure Quintet [Astral Spirits, 2020]
  15. Thanks for the lowdown, sounds intriguing Larry Young - The Complete Blue Note Recordings [Mosaic, 1991] LP.1 'Talkin' About'
  16. Thanks. I did plenty of Black Sabbath in my youth I had no idea that existed. I see from Discogs that there's only two Hill tracks, are they solo? How's the sound on it?
  17. First listen, lots to chew on
  18. Pat Martino - Live! [Muse, 1972]
  19. I thought the article read a little like a long advert for the "J Jazz" series but then maybe I'm feeling a bit cynical...and no mention of Togashi at all
  20. Masahiko Togashi - Rings [East Wind, Japan 1976]
  21. No, separate indulgence but not wintery in the slightest
  22. James Moody - Moody's Workshop [Xtra, UK 1967 RP]

    MICHAEL BRECKER

I loved that album and I'm not sure I knew it was Brecker. I may need to dig it out for a spin now
  24. I'm hoping Honest Jon's will stock it, they normally carry Sams. their own shop would be very dangerous and costly if it were in my district
