My guess is that only orders that can be completed (all items in stock) are being processed first. Just a hunch. It appears that 'the orders are being processed in they order they are received' is bunch of corporate BS. Did any of you guys that got a second e-mail ordered the Ellington K2? I am almost positive that one should be OOP.

If the orders are sequential, that is a LOT of orders. I doubt Concord has enough people to manage to complete so many orders in 3-5 days.

Tower is having a great sale on Impulse titles that rarely go on sale. I got a bunch of Impulse orange spine digipacks: Coltrane, Mingus, Gil Evans -out of the cool, - Benny Carter - Further Definitions for 9.99 each shipped. Hard to beat.

I dont use jewel cases, so I couldnt care less for them. I expect to get 80% of my order shipped. I had been looking for the Ellington K2 for months, and it is out of stock in all major e-retailers. Amazon tried to get it for me for 6 weeks before they canceled. I dont have hopes of getting that one. The K2 Jackie McLean I have NEVER seen it at any brick and mortar store, but will be happy to find it waiting for me at home soon.

I agree. To me this is the best Morgan/McLean album there is. Far superior to Leeway.

I ordered a bunch of K2 I was still missing. Dont mean to be a party pooper, but there was a disclaimer saying that some of the stuff may not be in stock and it wont be backordered. Hope nothing in my order is canceled

I got a free sampler of the new box at Borders. I have the K2 remasters, and they seem very similar to what will be in the box. Since I have all the material in either K2, SACD or DCC gold, I think I will pass. There is one live track in the sampler and its just OK.

I'd choose the complete master savoy and dial for Bird. Massey Hall is over hyped. There are better live Bird sets. The latest Bird & Diz released last year, is way better IMHO. Arent some of these items in the list compilations from the Definitive label in Spain? I hope not, how could they promote them like this?
