  1. For anyone interested, Opeth released an exclusive live album with the German "Rock Hard" magazine. It's got the following track list: The Devil`s Orchard (Heritage) Heir Apparent (Watershed) Ghost Of Perdition (Ghost Reveries) The Leper Affinity (Blackwater Park) Hessian Peel (Watershed) Deliverance (Deliverance) I believe the first track is the studio version of "Devil's Orchard", but the rest is live. Anyway, Rock Hard magazine has this available on Ebay currently, for non-German folks who can't get it otherwise. The price is Euro 6.90 + Euro 3.00 for shipping to the U.S. That works out to around $14.00. Ebay Link
  2. Boot the one with all the points!
  3. No biggie, Mike. (Van B is up there too) I'm sure there will come a time when it happens to the rest of us, and we need help.
  4. Bush was never cut out to be a feature back in the first place.
  5. He may suck, but not playing with Crabtree, and then Edwards getting hurt early made a difference. Plus, playing behind an O-Line that allowed 6 sacks doesn't give him much time to get rid of the ball either. I am not sure it was entirely Smith's fault tonight. On the other side, it was an impressive display by Romo, coming back from a broken rib to lead the Cowboys back to a tie in regulation and a win in OT. Cowboys had Dez Bryant out with injuries, and Felix Jones suffered a separated shoulder but played through it. Plus Miles Austin reinjured his hamstring and played through it, and Witten injured his ribs as well. Plus a couple of missing O-Line guys. Plus 2 of their top 3 cornerbacks missing on defense. All in all the Cowboys played a great game.
  6. And the Van Basten II imposter as well.
  7. And once again you've chosen to interject your inappropriate Nazi "humor", adding nothing to the thread or the topic of Kyo's music festival he's obviously worked hard to put together. I'm guessing Kyo doesn't appreciate it, or probably many of our board members, European and otherwise.
  8. Interesting list from SW. And from the journalists. I'm tired of "Trains" though, it's pleasant but not much more, for me.
  9. Your opinion of Wynton may not be the same as most people's here, but it is valid for you. But just because it's your opinion, doesn't make it universally true for everyone. They are just as entitled to their opinion as you are. You don't have the right (IMO) to tell them they're wrong, nor to insult other board members by calling them jealous, cowardly, unclassy, lesser musicians, or less accomplished in life. How on earth would you know any of that?? For many people Wynton is simply not the "top dog" of anything. That's an equally valid viewpoint as yours.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. I thought it was pretty much over (Dallas with a big lead) and when I checked back in it was all tied up! Not a good day for Romo. Not good at all. Romo was the difference in the game. Cowboys had the game won except for his two bonehead turnovers - the fumble at the goal line and the stupid, stupid interception. Cowboys defense played pretty well all things considered. They were playing their 4th and 5th cornerbacks at one point, and they were actually playing ok. And the run defense held NYJ to 2.8 yards per carry, not bad at all. I'm happy for New York fans though, in particular on this day.
  12. How'd you know I had a sex change??
  13. I fail to see the point in this thread.
  14. Here's the newest video for this album, for Remainder, after Track One and Index. Bring on the album already!!! Remainder the Black Dog: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDD5i-j1AnY Index:
  15. I think even if they lose, it's so early in the season they can overcome it. Alot of 1-loss teams end up in the top 5 if the loss is early. I like Oregon to win though, since LSU's QB isn't playing. In tonight's game, TCU is only down two to Baylor now, 47-45, with 7 minutes left. Exciting game!
  16. The season started last night - nice to finally have some real football going on! Right now unranked Baylor is beating up #14 TCU, 47-23, and it's not even the 4th quarter. I think TCU lost a good QB in Andy Dalton to the NFL, and the new guy is going to take a while to get them back up to their previous level. Meanwhile Baylor's QB Robert Griffin is looking great!
  17. Glad she's ok, Dan.
  18. Been a few tornadoes in the Philly/So. NJ area. Scary, adding those into the existing rain and wind.
  19. To stay, or traveling, or ??? We're in Philly this weekend. Happy to help if I can. Send me a PM if so. Appreciate the offer, Peter. She lives there part of the time, out a little past Cherry Hill. She's got a number of friends in the city if she decides she wants to go there instead.
  20. My sister lives in Houston, which is the 4th largest city in the U.S. In 2008 Hurricane Ike hit Galveston and then Houston. She and her family decided to ride this one out instead of evacuating (primarily due to the mandatory evacuation fiasco for Hurricane Rita back in 2005, when it took something like 28 hrs to drive from Houston to Austin (normally a 3 hr drive). Luckily, their house sustained no major damage, though there were numerous downed trees in the neighborhood. But they lost electricity completely, for something like 10 days. You try "living" without power for that long - it's difficult. Gasoline was hard to come by, a few people had portable generators, but it's still difficult to cook or refrigerate foods. The downed trees made it difficult to traverse alot of roads, and the utility companies were so overtaxed it took that long just to get the repairs made to get things back up and running. Stay safe. My wife's between Philly and the NJ coast, and very nervous. I'm nervous as well.
  21. What - a mass of Alpirsbacher Spezial and a Mystery Science Theater 3000 dvd??
  22. Either way I've truly enjoyed your photos, Bev!
  23. Here's the video, nice performance! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTcokoyn_HQ
  24. Another video from the new album, for "Index", here. Also, Gavin Harrison is doing a drum solo on Letterman tonight, as part of "Drum Solo Week".
