Be sure to get all of the Buika CDs, not just the one listed.

Mine is up to 30 days. Wow. I ordered the Masters of Cinema dual-format (BD and DVD) version of the reconstructed METROPOLIS from them on January 2. It took less than a week for it to make its way from the UK to Texas. Granted, it was probably a considerably smaller package than some of the ones being discussed here, and I'm still waiting on a much larger order of MoC DVDs I ordered directly from Eureka Entertainment during the recent sale they had. It's one CD. I believe it's lost. They have no tracking system.

Yes, I once had a shipment from BMG take forever. But in this case, it only took nine days. Remember, the USPS claims that it was delivered on the 20th. So was it misdelivered to someone who kept it, or did the mailman fail to do his job? Probably both. My Amazon UK order is now 24 days & counting.

Ordered today. Looking forward to receiving the CD.

Hi Kalli, And welcome. I just read Indriðason's 'Jar City' over last weekend. Had me gripped. It's the third of his I've read and I'm just taken by the complete lack of glamour in the novels. It's also so grey. I don't think it ever stopped raining in that last one. The writer I didn't take to was Hakan Nesser. Found 'Borkman's Point' a real slog - and couldn't work out what country it was all happening in! I liked Jar City too. I'd like to see the DVD of it. I'm going to read Hypothermia next.

I got my money back They said if it ever shows up I should just keep it (Amazon UK).

I like some so called regional writers (Hillerman already mentioned) including Margaret Coel, C.J. Box, Craig Johnson. YMMV. Dennis Lehane deserves some consideration.

I don't know about tracking on Newbury orders (I've never had a problem on orders from them), but my order from Amazon UK has no tracking information available. I believe that after 16 days it's lost.

I had a single CD ordered from Amazon UK sent on Dec. 21 (ordered on Dec. 20). Never arrived. They issued a refund today. I've never had this happen with Amazon UK. Nothing has ever taken more than a week to get here to the U.S.. They gave me a bit of a song & dance about the weather, but didn't argue about the refund when I requested it.
