  1. I like Moran, Iyer, etc.. It's mostly about opinion anyway, so FOR ME if I like it it's good.

It's actually the CD I was referring to - both LP's on 1 CD released by MPS Germany in the late 90's I'm lucky enough to own that CD.
  3. Thanks for the tip. I've been waiting for a sale on the John Carter set. (I don't think this set will sell very well) Carter / Bradford now listed as "temporarily out of stock".
  4. My copy of Cast The First Stone arrived as well.
  5. Based on this thread I just bought a reasonably priced copy online. I wish someone would reissue The You & Me That Used To Be. I guess I could buy one of the $20+ used copies.
  6. I thought this was a reference to the Leonard Cohen song. Nonetheless it was very nice.
  7. Jennifer Egan: A Visit From The Goon Squad

Sojourn is good too. He's recorded with lots of good people - Cyrille, Melford, etc. Depends who else you like.
  9. Almost incomprehensible post by Moms, but I did (do) like Notes And Tones & Jazz Masters Of The 30's. Otherwise a bunch of elitist posturing, as usual. Moms, we're not as dumb as you seem to think.
  10. Yep - the whole 8 minutes+.
  11. Kenny Davern & Steve Lacy Kenny Davern, Roswell Rudd & Steve lacy
  12. Loved it. I'm told that those who like this book will like A Visit From The Goon Squad (which I'm going to try as soon as I finish The Instructions).
  13. Broken English is my favorite.
  14. So do I. Mine is signed by Amiri Baraka. Cecil Taylor Ltd. edition FMP set is probably valuable. All of my vinyl is gone / sold.
  15. I saw Tarbaby in person recently & bought that CD. It's a good one. Today I bought the 3 CD set Baby How Can It Be.
