  1. Watching for a link & the actual release.
  2. Nice. Thanks!
  3. Completely agree on What Country Is This? I already have the 2 CD Res. Ens. you're talking about & enjoy it a lot.
  4. I was talking about musical quality, not physical appearance. Didn't even look at the photos.
  5. No spoilers please!!
  6. My birthday. Wish I could be there.
  7. I much prefer Patti Smith to Patty Smyth.
  8. Ready when the Tapscott is ready!!
  9. The Bully Pulpit
  10. I like his playing too - so there.
  11. 60 & sunny here in the the land of enchantment.
  12. Fred Eaglesmith Tif Ginn
  13. Scary cover!!

He looked just fine on Friday night. I was really impressed with his playing. Glad to hear that.
  16. Mine arrived safely - of course, not to Europe.
  17. It is Ezra Pound-style rhetoric. Just a style. There is no 'behavior' against anyone on the board. 1.)BTW what is his "talent"? 2.)So - if he characterizes someone as a "douche", it's not personal? 3.)I guess it's time for the "block" function.

I saw / heard him a few months ago in a David Weiss group where he subbed for Billy Hart. He played well, but didn't look that healthy.
  19. I believe she is a he. At any rate an agent provocateur for sure. "I'm the smartest guy in the room & the rest of you are losers with bad taste." That seems to often be the message. I don't care how much he knows.
  20. That does look like a good one. FWIW, I'm fine with Parallax & Kris Davis.
  21. I read both of your posts. It's the Nessa described "grenade thrower" that I have problems with.
  22. About Hamid? I saw / heard Hamid / Fred Anderson duets live which were transcendent IMO. Sorry to derail again.
  23. That's his modus operandi - i.e. I know more & better than any of you half-wits.
  24. Free For All is a great album. I do have to say though (regarding other parts of this thread), that I can recognize Golson's playing in 2-3 notes. I think that's a good thing.
