Phish bassist Mike Gordon, 38, was arrested Monday, August 11th, on charges of child endangerment after he was found with a nine-year-old girl in a secluded boathouse during a show by the Dead in Jones Beach, New York. According to New York's WNBC television, Gordon told police that he was taking "art photos" of the girl. I'm not passing judgements before the actual judgement takes place, but as a father of a baby-girl, I'd smack him real silly.

Without going into details and particulars, I must say that I do not enjoy the recent RVG treatment of many classic BN titles as well as his recent engineering jobs. But that's just my opinion.

There's also SOUL EYES the compilation. Yesterday I picked up ONE MORE TIME, a 2002 recording with Jean-Jacques Avenel and Steve Lacy[on two cuts].

He he. I wish. Lon, it looks much grainier than the smooth blue of the LP and TOCJ covers, but not as bad as that infamous John Patton cover, of course. I'll probably pick it up, since I traded the tocj recently.

At the risk of incurring the wrath of Ron...how is Dingo the movie? Worth looking for? I agree, the soundtrack album wasn't too bad. Nothing revolutionary, just some nice recurring themes.

I saw this one at the record shop today, and it looks like a so-so xerox copy of the original[which I've also seen]. Much rougher than the tocj cover. It does have one extra cut that the tocj doesn't.
