Quite possibly the only auction in eBay history to feature a Backstreet Boys CD and an Albert Ayler CD.

True, but the world around it does, so it's really like drinking from The Fountain of Youth. How very true, good sir.

FWIW, whiskey, once bottled, does not age like wine. Now, carry on!

I thought you meant Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante.

Agreed. I love the Sun Ra speech included as a part of one of the tunes. Dude even samples Steve Reich's Come Out in a tune. That is a pretty hip ear, IMO.

I am still patiently waiting for the Cellar Door box...

Would they ever consider releasing some of the Tony Scott RCA material. Please please please!
-
Oh, what I would give to hear that!

No pastel covers for these. Yay!

I kinda like like sustain thing...
-
Not to bring up a sore subject, but why don't they put up the Complete Fillmore set for download?
-
Did you pick up the Half Note set?
-
Any photos of the packaging?

What's happenin, bro!

I am right there with you with Comets on Fire. I haven't heard any of the Detroit Cobras' records, but I saw them open for Rev Horton Heat and they SUCKED. I haven't seen a band suck that bad on stage ever. I was all psyched to see them for all of the accolades heaped on them, but man did they not deliver.
-
Yeah, this one is really top notch Book. Plus, Woody! Another one that mysteriously languished for too long.
-
Holy crap. Meaning, you like, or dislike? I honestly heard lots of notes, but not much music. Meaning more of "yep, he can do that, I guess" rather than "I enjoy this."
-
Well, almost everybody who recorded on Fonotone did so under a pseudonym (like Fahey, Mike Seeger, etc.). A lot of the bands are just Bussard and his friends recording under various names... Do the notes give the AKAs?

Those BN titles don't stick around long...
