Horrible, cold, raining and depressing. Spring has been cancelled this year and,to make it worse, the dreaded rainy season will start in another month.

I feel like she's looking down on me. They managed to tie everything up quite well. The Pattie flashbacks were unexpected and maybe they could have shot them with a little more care, they looked thrown together. Slimey Lenny lives to scam another day , maybe leaving the door open for season four. How are we going to get by without weekly postings of Ellen ?

Freezing cold, sleety rain with snow in the night. When I opened the curtains this morning I couldn't believe my eyes- snow covered rooftops !

Film viewing is on the pause button as I've started rewatching The Wire.Got up to S1E08 Pity Hisako can't watch with me but the dialogue is just too difficult without subtitles. Astonishingly it's never been released here with Japanese subtitles.

BBC Requiem For Detroit. About the decay and collapse of Detroit. Totally riveting must see. I'd love to visit the place to see this historic change taking place. A similar thing happened in Sheffield after the reign of Thatcher, whole swathes of what were once steel factories are now lawns and open spaces. Nothing like the apocalyptic scale of Detroit though.

The handle is supposed to act as a liquid soap dispenser but the soap flows all over the place making it necessary to refill the beast every second time it's used. After a short but unsatisfactory stint in our kitchen it was slung into the garbage. Good riddance to a piece most untypically shoddy German workmanship.
