  1. I didn’t knew this book before but checked it out and you made one hell of a great find! Congrats and enjoy!
  2. Well there is more: Shaws Love Dance and In the Beginning, Carlos Garnetts Black Love and Cosmos Nucleus. Catalysts Unity and Richard Davis’ Dealin. Joe Chambers’ The Almavorid etc. Of course it’s not like Strata East whose catalogue is also significantly smaller but still there’s definitely some in demand titles. One of their starters (The Free Slave) is among them. I am also curious to how those reissues will sound. It’s mentioned here before but I have never been impressed soundwise by a Muse record.
  3. That goes for some Muse titles yes. But the more desired ones can get very pricey. Roy Brooks' The Free Slave, Woody Shaw's Moontrane and Clifford Jordan's Night of the Mark V are some examples.
  4. I could understand the disappointment for those who prefer the cd format. I wish they just do both. No need to always place the vinyl listener in the audiophile loony camp though. I think it’s like Clifford mentioned: the vinyl market is more profitable at the moment. There aren’t a lot of labels that are lead primarily by the ideal of spreading the art. Most of them are just businesses who want to maximize their profits unfortunately.
  5. I’m not the biggest Silver fan and realize this makes me an exception but the personell and song selections got me interested.
  6. That’s very cool. Unfortunately the Muse catalog got neglected for long by the vinyl revival. I think I now have most of the stuff I want but we’ll see. They’ll do some Clifford Jordan and Woody Shaw for sure.
  7. Schopenhauer to relax. Kant to make the brains work
  8. I've recently added Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and sometimes if others were not avaible YouTube links which should make it easier to listen to the music, add to playlists while exploring. From the beginning my Blog is almost invisible for Google. I've spent hours and hours trying to fix the problem, now also with help from AI but I still haven't found out. It frustrates me big time my Blog never shows up in Google search results. Thinking of transferring to another medium but that's gonna be a lot of work again.... https://snake-out.blogspot.com/
  9. Great to hear you found it Guy! It’s an unmissable part in Mals huge discography 👍
  10. Thanks for sharing. I only have LinkedIn but don’t really use it. Sometimes YouTube of course. Thats it. Tend to stay far away from al those other platforms. Part from those awful algorithms and other dubious unethical elements I really don’t feel de need to expose my life to others. Except the jazz part but that’s where I have Organissimo for
  11. Posted in wrong thread sorry
  12. That stuff with Sam Rivers…. He’s so damn good on it. RIP
  13. They definitely did David. It was a great show and me and my parents enjoyed it big time. Glad to hear all of you are okay

  15. thanks for clearing that up. I always thought it was a legit label and this confirms it.
  16. Thats one fancy PD label then. I see their vinyl releases go for 100+ euros sometimes.
  17. Plus The Way Ahead of course 😍
  18. Yes that sounds like what I am hearing too thanks Kevin. Now playing a collaboration between these two masters:
  19. Yea it’s great! I do think Clifford’s a bit far down in the mix or is that my French pressing?
