Yeah I’ve noticed it. It’s a lovely but huge discography to explore. I still have to skip the records where Irene Aebi is present in a very dominant way because I still have trouble enjoying her singing. I can have it in small doses though and that’s a step for me Still lots of works to discover. What a fascinating musician he was.
  3. You mean the big Universal fire? There was definitely Coltrane material destroyed there
  4. I'm in for all Classic Quartet and late sextet recordings. I'd love to hear this: Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, March 29, 1967 90784 Number Eight Impulse! lost 90785 Number Seven - 90786 Number Six - 90787 Number Five - 90788 Number Four - 90789 Number Two
  5. Straight ahead but highly enjoyable session by a swinging band. Hutch was young but already in great shape.
  6. I’d say that one definitely has a chance. The first three are all titles where the original pressing has become rare.
  7. Ah I see. The US version was issued on Timeless Muse right?
  8. if one does, one has to do it right. That guy in the back on that keyboard 🤣 this must give some of the board members here nostalgic feelings. I was born only three years later after this piece of art

  11. I’ve got the same question. It is on my wantlist already…
  12. these two then…. The last is desert island stuff for me
  13. Pat Martino made some damn good stuff for Muse too. Counciousness, Live and The Visit. Amazing stuff. Not looking to replace mine but if this brings more people in touch with his music: let them reissues come!
  14. I didn’t knew this book before but checked it out and you made one hell of a great find! Congrats and enjoy!
  15. Well there is more: Shaws Love Dance and In the Beginning, Carlos Garnetts Black Love and Cosmos Nucleus. Catalysts Unity and Richard Davis’ Dealin. Joe Chambers’ The Almavorid etc. Of course it’s not like Strata East whose catalogue is also significantly smaller but still there’s definitely some in demand titles. One of their starters (The Free Slave) is among them. I am also curious to how those reissues will sound. It’s mentioned here before but I have never been impressed soundwise by a Muse record.
