UCCQ-9233 RVGs for the first (and last?) time on SHM as stated on CD Japan. ---------------------------- More importantly, will we get a series with titles not previously given the 75th anniversary SHM treatment for Blue Note's 80th anniversary in 2019? If so they could start the festivities fall 2018 like they did in 2013.

Better packaging probably would have prevented such damage in the first place. They are always very friendly and generous in solving such issues, but that's beside the point. Quality control and prevention is what's lacking.

Just back from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam: Jan Willem de Vriend (conductor), The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (Orkest van het Oosten), Hannes Minnaar (piano) Beethoven's Coriolan Overture op.62, Piano Concerto no.5, & Symphony no.7 Great performances, very similar to the recordings these musicians made on Hybrid SACD for Challenge Records (link). Hannes Minnaar signed the booklet of my copy of the newly released The Complete Beethoven Piano Concertos during the intermission.

They will retain my business al long as I am able to order through Jazz Messengers Barcelona.
