Just lay on a couch in front of a tv until you fade out. Of course I'm going strictly from memory, but I think I'd take about three aspirins and drink a lot of water. too. Thos gator ade and vitamin suggestions sound good, but you have to be precogniitive of your predicament to have them on hand. For some unknown reason these situations always took me by surprise.

I've been reworking my way through this set recently. This set and The Billie Columbias and a few others. I find the best way for me is to burn a copy and keep it in the car and just go through the sets disc by disc, but not all of one set at one time. Mix it up. I dig Mildred Bailey. Her voice may at first seem Betty Boopish but really her pitch, her range and her time are excellent. The accompaniments are excellent and, as pointed out by Lon, the sound on this set is phenomenol.

There's another Johnny Hammond with Seldon Powell on it. Don't know if it ever was reissued on cd (unless this is it - is it live and they kick off with Black Coffee ?). Seldon was a NYC studio cat. I think maybe out of the big bands before that. He was one of those guys that went from studio to studio all day long 5 days a week, maybe 2 to 4 dates a day. Many many many dates - most of them anonymous. A fine player.

Howso ? Do you mean in addition to the SONIC RECORDNOW (which I think is Samsung) ? That came preloaded when I bought my computer. I thought Dell put it in, but is that standard with XP ? Or is there another burner on my pc that I'm unaware of ?

Judging from the track list I don't see how you can go wrong. I have some of it on other issues or even dvd (the Jam session movie with Lester Young, Sid Catlett, etc).
