Horace Silver - The Jody Grind got this as a filler in an order to take up space I guess. Its an original mono copy, assuming since they threw it in its not too valuable, but it is a Horace I don't have and after a spin on the record doctor it sound pretty darn good!

On the first Friday of the month since March of 2020, we’ve waived our revenue shareto help support the many artists who have seen their livelihoods disrupted by the pandemic. Over the course of 17 days, fans paid artists and labels more than $70 million dollars, helping cover rents, mortgages, groceries, medications, and much more. If you’re among the nearly 800,000 fans who participated, thank you. It will likely be several months before live performance revenue returns in full. So we’re going to continue doing Bandcamp Fridays in 2022, on February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th. As always, isitbandcampfriday.com has the details. If you’ve started to feel guilty about buying music on any day other than Bandcamp Friday, here’s something to keep in mind: on Bandcamp Fridays, an average of 93% of your money reaches the artist/label (after payment processor fees). When you make a purchase on any other day of the month (as 2.5 million of you have since March, buying an additional $190 million worth of music and merch) an average of 82% reaches the artist/label. Every day is a good day to directly support artists on Bandcamp!

Rick Countryman - The First Bird (solo alto saxophone album)

That’s insanely impressive. I could see doing that if I started from the beginning of collecting. I liked collectorz because I could add studio/venue, musicians and it was searchable. I also added the from and rear images to releases. The search for a new database has begun.

I’m well versed in Excel. That is not what I want in a database.

Yeah and if i teach myself to drill for oil and refine it into gas and I can stop going to the pump. Thanks for the insight

Wonderful album by Masabumi Kikuchi, Ben Street and Thomas Morgan on bass and Krestin Osgood on drums followed by one of the best releasees I've heard in a while. Ming Bau Set - Yakut's Gallop which is Vera Baumann on vocals, Florestan Berset on Electric Guitar and Gerry Hemingway on Harmonica, Vocals and Drums. Absolutely captivating music.

I just got a generic response from them when I inquired about comparability. Really disappointed. They didn’t even answer my question. The lack of full transfer to the cloud from the desktop platform is cause for me to stop using them. If the cloud platform was the same as the desktop I would stick with them.
-
I’ve got over a decade investing in my collectorz. I knew I should have bailed when they started referring to it as the old transfer option. It had become spotty for a couple years and now just doesn’t work. It’s a real shame because it was such a good product before they wanted to find ways to milk people endlessly.
-
Any new recommendations on this front. I’m pretty much tired of trying to get Collectorz to do the basing things anymore. I just want to input on my computer and transfer it to the mobile app. It used to work easily but now it appears they want you to upload to their cloud for some reason and their cloud is awful.

Not that he is for everyone but James Bookers set from Onkel Po’s is excellent as well.
