  1. I found an original copy of this on ebay a couple years ago...bid more on it but won it for 12 bucks. Everyone else must have been naping. Stock is a very good photographer! Always liked that shot of Crow and his bass...use it as a screen saver. m

  13. I think the bassist is Nick Tountas. Willie is an amazing player! ...amazing player and wonderful man! I went to his 70th Birthday party and it was basically a tribute to him by a couple dozen great musicians/friends....Faddis, Bellson, C. Terry, G. Bartz, Bunky Greene, Barry Harris, Robert Shy, Larry Gray, Richard Davis and many others.... m
  14. Sad news...saw him play several times. He played at a la jazz institute event last year and did a nice interview along side Candido. He was using oxygen on/off but appeared to be holding his own other than that. m
  15. Freddie Hubbard Tribute @ the Jazz Kitchen in Indy....with Derrick Gardner, Clifford Ratliff, Pharez Whitted, Mike Hackett and Pat Harbison.....some great Freddie tunes in the hometown of Freddie...should be fun. m
