  1. Mind-melting drones for when you are in the "mood"
  2. Hozan Yamamoto/Masabumi Kikuchi -- Silver World
  3. Sam Rivers Andrew Hill solo Mingus Jazz Workshop Concert
  4. Track 5: Vandermark ?
  5. No idea on most of this, but I'm pretty sure Track 4 is Angles 9.
  6. Never heard the original LP, so don't know if it is better or not, but the bass on the reissue is wonky (the entire mix sounds kind of off).
  7. His duo w/ Karl Berger on Leo from earlier this year was quite good.
  8. Waclaw Zimpel -- especially his work with Hera. And I'll put another vote in for Falzone and KLANG.
  9. The Giant Awakens Carter/Bradford live disc on Dark Tree the East Wind reissue series the "new" Ornette disc . . .
  10. ohhh man -- RIP Mr. Coleman. I'm going to have to tie one on tonight after this news.
  11. I got a shipped email from them on Friday 5/15 & it got here today. That was with the cheap air mail shipping option to Ohio.
  12. You are going to have to search long and hard for a note before this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBhB9gRnIHE
  13. That one is hard to locate on CD for a reasonable price, unlike some of the other solo albums on FMP. True, but you can buy the high-rez download from destination-out -- and I've always viewed it as a singular effort in the vast solo Cecil canon.

    Uptown

I think he's got a little Johnny Ramone working there.
  15. Martin Kuchen -- Hellstorm -- not an easy listen, but an incredibly powerful attempt to portray the horrors of Nazism in sound. If you found Angles -- Every Woman is a Tree to be moving you'll embrace this one as well.
