I was checking out a Godin ACS-SA (classical solid body) a few days before I broke my elbows (12 weeks today!). I want one, but I can't afford it now. Bah! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself!

This all sounds kind of familiar...like we've held this discussion recently. I've been thinking of writing different arrangements of my pieces so I can use different instruments. For starters, the one we were playing in July didn't have a bass part. When I write one this Winter, it's getting played on a keyboard.

I would think there's a difference between starting a conversation, stopping it, and than continuing it months later and not talking for three months. I've been on the internet for 17 years...I know a net kook when I see one, so I'm talking from experience. edit: of course, that's just a distant diagnosis.

They're both great albums! I really like the balance between the horn and the band on the Surman album. It's amazing how changing the bass player in the Abercrombie band changes things. I don't know what's different, but something has changed.
