  1. Thanks. May give it another look.
  2. I did like the background that Collectorz had. Is there a way to import the data from your Collection on Discogs into Collectorz?
  3. I thought this piece on managing stress during the Coronavirus crisis was quite useful. https://www.msnbc.com/the-beat-with-ari/watch/secrets-to-combating-coronavirus-stress-81401925515
  4. No, I’m telling you that when I went to input the box set that’s how it came out for me. Now, I’m glad That A.A. pointed out there’s another way you can do it but when I use Discogs I don’t have this issue, and for the reasons I stated above, I didn’t find Collectorz, for me, to be superior to Discogs. You like Collectorz, hey, that’s great. They each appear to be good cataloguing systems, each with their pluses and minuses.
  5. The last couple of days have sucked weather wise for walks. Looks like it will have to wait until Wednesday.
  6. We wanted to use our local Shoprite for delivery and when we went to reserve a time slot, all slots for the next two weeks were taken. This applied to pickup as well. However, they do have early hours for people 60 + and we used that this morning.
  7. Sorry, but it is true. I tried to import the new Grateful Dead set that just came out and all the discs are separate entries. Same for a BB King box set. It’s not the worst thing in the world, just pointing out one of the idiosyncrasies.
  8. Currently watching a series on the Silk Road on Amazon, by a French journalist, called The Silk Road. I watched Gomorrah a few years ago when it was on Sundance. Very compelling.

  10. I’d like to see some restructuring of our healthcare system but I doubt that will happen.
  11. Begs the question of what will be “normal.” Maybe normal will only become 2019 normal when there is a vaccine.
  12. My Word file has everything yours does except the name of the musicians. I’ve been keeping it since the late 90s when I first started listening to jazz.
  13. Love that video of Spin Me Round Records. Phillipsburg is about an hour from here — yes, a little far — but will go there once this is all over.
  14. Things are getting expensive! https://photos.smugmug.com/Family/i-zw4xmnt/0/a7695013/640/IMG_0344-640.mp4
  15. Spanish officials seem to think that cases will hit the apex very soon and then level off. We are a couple of weeks behind Spain. Unfortunately, Spain has not yet hit that mark.
  16. Is that one of those rider ones. We only had half an acre.
  17. I’ve decided to keep using Discogs and not Collectorz. I put in sufficient time inputting the albums into Discogs and don’t want to repeat the process. Moreover, Discogs has more information than Collectorz but I only need basic information. I also found that if you tried to input a boxed set into Collectorz, it would only do one disc so you’d have to repeat it several times for the remaining discs. For me, they are essentially the same.
  18. This was back in the mid 80s so a crappy gas powered push kind.
  19. I’m with Lon on this. Sometimes we are too analytical from an audiophile mindset. On the other hand, whatever works for you is good too.
  20. Wilton is right next to New Canaan; I used to live in the area.
  21. Gov. Cuomo thinks this will peak in the next two to three weeks. I assume the same pattern will follow in NJ, which now has 11,000 cases. I’m not even sure I will go to the grocery store during that stretch.
  22. PayPal transfers are free for the buyer but the seller gets charged a fee, unless it’s a friends and family transaction.
  23. Unfortunately, I don’t really know the answer. Perhaps PayPal marketed itself better as the preferred payment option.
