I think it depends on the person when they come back and how effective they are. It took Zack Wheeler a couple of years to come back.

The New York Times has been running a series about notable people who did not receive obituaries when they died. Today’s installment was about Valaida Snow. Overlooked No More: Valaida Snow, Charismatic ‘Queen of the Trumpet’ Here is the Overlooked Section for obituaries of other famous persons such as Robert Johnson.

I listened to A Touch of Today this morning. It’s a record of pop covers, or jazzy pop as you put it. Nothing flashy but her voice makes the record. I’d hesitate to label it as easy listening. After all, it is Nancy Wilson!

I don’t remember the specific details but I used their proxy service for Howard Ramsey’s Lighthouse at Laguna. The whole thing wound up costing $37 so, yes, it was expensive but I really wanted this disc and I love Laguna. Been there a trillion times; wish I could afford to live there. A few weeks later I saw it on eBay for about $20. I was momentarily annoyed but you can’t worry about what you can’t control. -
Alan doesn’t post here anymore but, from his website, he’s a pretty accomplished artist in Philadelphia. Great website, by the way. Doesn’t look like his Jazmatazz site is operational anymore https://www.alanlankin.com/home

I used to visit the Tower Records store by Lincoln Center in the City, probably in the late 90s or early 2000s. Think some of my purchases was bop from PD labels like Cool ‘N Blue Records.

Picked up the following LPs at estate sales: Bird with the Herd - 1951 Herb Alpert Presents Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 Look Around - Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 Nancy Wilson - A Touch of Today and Easy. These are not considered great albums so I may part with them

That’s odd. I was able to access it this morning but can’t now. I was able to save the file as a pdf. If you send me your email, I can forward it to you.

Here’s a step by step article with photos on how to remove the rumble. https://www.henleyaudio.co.uk/shop/product/viewfile?FileId=748&ProductId=193 I'm on my second Pro*Ject (not a Carbon, however) and fortunately haven’t had this issue.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book.

Yes, I saw them all. Great show. Not sure if there will be a Season 3 however.
