Mets are off to a good start but after last year, I’m guarding my optimism. Diaz, who they picked up from Seattle, has been as advertised but the bullpen has been spotty — they had a 6-0 lead going into the 9th inning, with hopes to give Diaz a night off l, but the pen gave up 4 runs, turning it into a dicey affair, and Diaz had to be called in to get the final out. The mgr continues to make questionable decisions. So far, the good start has papered over some of his incompetence but eventually he will cost them games.

This is a terrific record, which I haven’t listened to in a very long time. The playing is top notch and The Lady and God Bless The Child are just so good.

Based on some articles I tend to shy away from P & V where possible. However, they seem to be everywhere so it’s hard to avoid them. I read the Briggs version of W & P but compared it to the P & V version and glad I read the former.

I'm not a big fan of some of these sellers like Moviemars; they stiffed me on something I purchased on eBay so they're off my list. Rarewaves' ebay feedback was less than stirling so no on them too. I certainly won't die if I don't get this set.
