We’ve given up on getting him inside. He apparently doesn’t trust people but his fur isn’t rough, leading us to believe that he belongs to someone. The other day when it was 3 degrees out my wife grabbed him and brought him inside but the other cats hissed at him and he was clearly unhappy so we let him out and he was quite happy to be outside again. -

That’s not the first time either he’s tried to take a whack at us. We’ve tried to get him to come inside but no dice. -
Which Mosaic Are You Enjoying Right Now?
Brad replied to Soulstation1's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
That must be a very rare Mosaic. I seldom see it on eBay and when I do, it’s crazy money. -
So much for my powers of observation.

We have three cats and we feed an outdoor cat. We’re not sure it’s a wild cat or belongs to someone but he/she sure eats a lot. The other night he come around 1130 and when I didn’t feed him fast enough he hissed at me and tried to bite my shoe. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you! -
I had never heard of Fred but it’s encouraging to see that Michael and Scott are not the only people at Mosaic.

Relative to the Green Book comments, here are a couple of articles well worth reading: The Green Book's Black History Why Do the Oscars Keep Falling for Racial Reconciliation Fantasies? The last article by Wesley Morris is particularly good and posits movies like Green Book and Driving Ms. Daisy against movies like Do the Right Thing.

I don’t live in the City anymore — out in the burbs, an hour away by train — and I subscribe to New Yorker, etc., and it’s a pain to get to and all that and when I go in it’s crowded but it’s got a certain vibe, feeling, whatever that I can’t explain. When I used to work in NY and we’d have to do the occasional all nighter, you’d walk out at 6am or some ridiculous hour when the City was just coming alive, there was a crispness that I just can’t describe. Just not the same working or living anywhere else.

Frank Kimbrough Plays The Complete Thelonious Monk
Brad replied to ghost of miles's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
Glad to help out -
It is THE City and it is the GREATEST city. You’d have to live there to know, and, yeah, I’ve been to the great cities of the world. As Frank said, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

The best parts of this recording are the songs with Roy Hargrove.

Amen. Just because Selig is in doesn’t mean we should admit the other two.
